    Following a fire in March, which destroyed a large part of a Listed building and greenhouse at Castle Gardens in Sherborne, the re-building project has started and hopes are that the building, part of Sherborne Castle Estates, will be restored to its former glory by August.

    Large boxes of wheat, oats and barley, are being grown by Pearce Seeds of Sherborne for Hampton Court Palace Flower Show as part of Dorset Cereals Edible Playground Garden (which won Gold at Chelsea as a Courtyard Garden). The Hampton Court Garden is a large show garden and the wheat grown by seed specialists Pearce Seeds is a major part of the garden design.
